ReplyDeleteOverall your pictures seem soft, and there's not much drama to it. We concluded that that's most likely a part of your style, in that you don't take super dramatic photos with diverse lighting, but there's more tame lighting, and they feel more realistic and down to earth.
We felt like with the temperature photos were the least developed and diverse. most of the photos were taken at 3200 and 1 was at 5600, so there wasn't much of a difference in what we were looking at, but there was a very clear warmth presented in them.
Our favorite photo was Hardness #2, mainly because of the incredibly interesting lighting, and how different specific shadows were. For example, the shadow in the middle of the bottle has a much more feathered edge, whereas the shadows wrapping around the tip of the bottle are harder and more defined. It's very diverse and even though it doesn't have a dramatic feeling, it still invokes a certain undefinable feeling.
Good job!
Anna, while evaluating your photos, I have come to the conclusion that the hardness section was your best section. Number 4 and 6 in the hardness were my favorite. All of your photos have an overall soft and delicate look to them. As I explained your hardness being your strongest section, your direction characteristic was very good as well. I loved how you included a photo with just the shadows showing. One thing to think about is maybe changing the positions of the bottles in temperature to give more dimension. Overall, you have shown a great understanding of the 5 characteristics, great job!
