You did a great job with completing the assignment, but we noticed that some of the photos didn't have a caption. Doing this will help with organization. We feel that you did an adequate job of completing the assignment. But, we noticed that a few of the photos didn't seen to completely fit into the assignment description. For example, the intensity didn't have much variation with the composition. We noticed in the hardness category that some of the photos were underexposed to too dark to fully see the composition. Maybe increase the intensity of the key light for these photos to increase their visibility. We think that all of your photos were in focus and were not soft. Overall you did a great job of showing an understand of the different lighting characteristics. But, there were a few photos in intensity where it was hard to tell where your two light sources were coming from. We thought that these photos focused more on the objects themselves instead of the light source in some cases. We felt that your temperature photos were the strongest in that you did a nice job of having variation with the lighting. We also feel that you may have struggled most with hardness because this categories photos had the lowest visibility. We felt that photo #7 in direction was your strongest because it focused on the lighting and textures instead of the bottle itself.
ReplyDeleteThis whole blog post is organized in an understandable and easy way to see all photos from each characteristic. With the overall photos being in focus and demonstrated each characteristic, while showing an understanding of how each scenario works. Some of the best photos from this project came from temperature and intensity. For the characteristic hardness a few photos were too dark or underexposed to read, and understand. The strongest photo was from temperature which was photo 17, as this photo worked well because it gave off a cold feeling from the blue color. Overall this project was good and each characteristic was matched well with the photos.
