  1. Hello Julius!

Overall your photos were lovely and an absolute joy to see. An few aspects we noticed throughout your photos was an architectural feel. The bottles were arranged in an optimal position in ALL of your photos to capture the light and shadow. We would benefit from more detailed labeling. For instance, it would have been helpful to have the lighting positions labeled. Additionally, we also noted that two of the photos in temperature appeared to be in monochrome. We would have LOVED to see them in standard color. Throughout the collection, we were drawn to the way you arranged the subjects to capture the essence of the project. Our eyes were drawn to shadows in a vast majority of your photos. Some of our favorite photos were Intensity photo 5, temperature photo 3, contrast photo 1, and contrast photo 3.

    Good Job! Well Done! Bravo!

    Sincerely,
    Alexis Randolph and Anna Ceasar

  2. We can see from your work that you understood the 5 characteristics of light and how to apply them. Something we noticed that would help with the organization of your post would be to add more labels. It would have been beneficial to label which direction the light was in for the direction characteristic portion of your post. Your images did a good job of showcasing the light and shadows. We felt that the characteristic that was the strongest was direction because it was clear where the light was coming from and the bottles were positioned in ways which created interesting shadows. The image that stood out to us the most was your first photo for direction. This picture has a very definitive direction that the light is coming from and the way the bottles are positioned shows where the light is shining and where the light is not hitting as directly. It appears that this image used a bottle out of frame to block some of the light which was a creative use of the bottle.
