We noticed that you were missing the photos for intensity, but the rest of the photos were correctly labeled. Therefore your assignment wasn't fully completed. You organized you photos in a way that was easy to understand and all of your photos were captioned correctly. You followed the instructions for the assignment correctly because it was clear what photos belonged in what category. Overall you did a good job of correctly exposing you photos, but we noticed that a few in direction and temperature are a little too bright. We noticed that you struggled a little with keeping your imaged in focus. It was clear that as you worked through the categories that your photos became more in focus, because some of the photos in the first categories were out of focus. The photos in the end all appeared clear. It is clear that you have a good understanding of the different characteristics, except for intensity. You do show signs of having an individual voice in your photos because many of them had a similar composition and your temperature photos were all in the same style. You did a good job of taking photos of lighting and form, instead of focusing on the bottles themselves. We think that your hardness photos stood out from the rest of the photos because of their diversity and clarity. We feel that you struggled the most with contrast because the compositions of these photos were not very diverse and some were out of focus. The photo that we think was the strongest was the last photo for hardness in position 6 because this pictures composition, clarity and values was the most interesting.
ReplyDeleteIn your post, there isn’t any photos for intensity leaving your project incomplete. By examining your photos, it’s clear you followed the project brief and understand the difference in characteristics. I did notice that there are a few photos that are a little overexposed, but most of them are good. Some of the positioning in contrast is repetitive. I’m my opinion, direction was your strongest photo characteristic due to the light casted and shadows created. Direction number 4 was the most successful photo.
