In your “You Know Better” photos I really enjoy the different temperatures of light you used as well as that shake in the 5th photo. I think these came out really cool and I think you did a good job setting the bones up for each take!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It feels like I gained more experience learning about camera settings. For two years, I've used two digital cameras, but I never got to play with the camera settings before. Back then, all I knew was to push the camera buttons, that's all. I did like how I changed different temperatures in the photographs. It gives it unique tones and moods.
DeleteMy “YOU KNOW BETTER” images show how much I can change the exposure and tone of an image. I'm glad I got to know more about shutter speed and aperture on my Canon rebel t6 because before, I didn't know how to use my canon at all. I was a little worried if I followed and understood the directions correctly. I enjoyed experimenting with the lights and darks to see what creative exposures I could come up with. I liked how it reflected on the bones. In the fifth photo, I could have toned down the brightness. Overall this was an excellent experience for me, and now I can experiment with those settings whenever I take portrait photos.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed every single category of this project. You did an amazing job at really experimenting. For your 'to Hold or not to Hold' I found a lot of your images pulling me in. It was very visible that you took your time with this project to gain new skills. Your intentional,or possibly unintentional, camera shakes were phenomenal. The composition of your second 'to Hold or not to Hold' image at 05" was my favorite because it really made me focus of the shapes of the image rather than the objects of the photo. The only critique I could find was that the sequence of the posted categories is not the same as the handout. Which I don't know if it even matters.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI really like how you incorporated different temps with the you know better category. I especially like the cooler temperature photos. the vibe is cold and mysterious! I think the first cold photo came out the best with the temperature change. looks like a scene you would find in a video game or movie. nice job!
