Over the last eight weeks in this class I have learned how to better my photographs through the use or observation of available lighting to enhance my intended compositions. I have been exposed to the uses of specific functions on my camera that aid in the overall composition and presentation of my pictures. I can now adjust the camera according to the exposure I am trying to achieve. With this wealth of knowledge I would hope to continue to develop the use of the functions on the camera to fully utilize what it is capable of in the creation of new and interesting compositions. Thanks for looking! I hope you enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteHello Alexis,
ReplyDeleteThe warmth and color choices for your you know better part of the assignment look great! My favorites include 1, 2, 4, and 5. You are not missing anything in the rest of the assignment. Not sure if it is just me but the captions look a bit all over. Might want to check and tweek that. Your work is amazing regardless.
Hi Alexis!
ReplyDeleteJust as Tryston has stated, it is a pleasure to view your work! There are a few aspects I really noticed in "You Know Better". The first characteristic I immediately noticed was your ability to highlight different textures. By using materials with contrasting luminosities (i don't know if that's the right word), it comes off as an interesting aspect that makes you look at your photographs more than once. This is particularly evident in your last photo. Even though there is a duller metal with a more luminous metal, it is the duller metal I notice first. This photograph particularly highlights your technical skills to manipulate your camera. Well Done Alexis!
Hello, I really like all of your photos each one is engaging in their own way. There are photos from each section that really popped. They are: you know better #8, aperture #8, and the second image from the top. The colors in #8 from you know better look amazing, the lighting and set up make this image vibrant and full of life. Great job on all of them they are super cool.
