Over the past few years I have been taking pictures, and basically learned how to make the exposures, backgrounds, and people look good. I always knew what the shutter speed and exposures were, but never put any thought into them. Over the past 8 weeks I have not only gained experience with them, but learned how to handle them in different lighting situations. I lost all of my pictures for this project when I was trying to post them, leading to me reshooting everything. During and after reshooting, I have realized how comfortable I have become with automatically changing the aperture to get the correct exposure, or positioning the lights in which creates the best shadows. I think its really cool how your brain automatically reacts to those things. I will use these techniques for all of my future photography because it is super helpful to know what the effects are and how they are going to effect the photo.

ReplyDeleteHi Chloe,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your images for this assignment. I think that the variety of temperatures made them very interesting and pretty. This is something that I did not explore as much for my images and I think that it really added an extra creative element. The only critique that I have is that the compositions of some of them are very similar. Maybe changing them up a bit would make the images more interesting.
I agree that the composition could've been improved and more creative. I also agree that it would've made it more interesting. Thank you for your feedback!
DeleteHi Chloe,
ReplyDeleteI really like the exposures that are used in your images. The way you positioned some of the bones with the exposures was intriguing to me. Some of your images looked 3-D to me. Maybe try using some different the temperatures on some of your images to change it up. I think you did a nice job!
Hi Chloe,
ReplyDeleteI really like your pictures! I like how you weren't afraid to experiment with this assignment and try out different exposures and holding the camera. Some of my favorite pictures in set 2 of how deep and set 3 of equivalent exposures. Good job!
