For the You Know Better pictures, I found that even though I haven't done any experimenting on my own previously, I basically know how to use aperture and shutterspeed to my advantage. This just goes to show that the previous exercises really helped to teach me how to use them. I also learned that I prefer to shoot at a higher focal length, because it provides a lot more control in using aperture. Most of my photos were shot between 105 and 200. Using higher focal lengths gives a much deeper DoF and adjusting the Aperture gives much more varied results, as opposed to lower focal lengths which allow you to get closer to a subject but it doesn't give as much control. Overall I'm happy with my photos, but I wasn't able to get all 9, and for the last one I should have added a front light and made the exposure lighter because it's very dark.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI really like the incorporation of the bottles and bones in your photos. especially the last photo. I really like the slim green and black texture in the middle of the bottle with the incorporation of bones on the sides. It gives an eerie but beautiful vibe to the photo. Nice job.
Hi Gabriel,
ReplyDeleteI think you did a phenomenal job with you images. I liked how you added the bottles and the bones together in the photos. I liked how explored with color and black and white in your photos in order to change it up. Great job!
Hello, I think you did pretty great on all of your photos, they are each exciting and fun. For the you know better part I like how you used both the bones and bottles from the first project, that was an awesome idea. One of the coolest photos that I liked the most is the first image for to hold or not to hold, the colors in the image as well as the focal point really drew me to this one, in all good work.
