Hi Sierra!
ReplyDeleteTo start your presentation, you mentioned that you took your camera around with you and took photos of subjects that inspired you. Your locations were Liberty Point, Manitou Springs, and Mineral Palace. One aspect that you pointed out was the golden cast in your golden hour photos. This was thanks to a killer sunset. My favorite photo of yours was photo 8 in golden hour. You also stated that blue hour was one of the most challenging series to shoot in this project.
Good Job!
Sierra,
ReplyDeleteIn the group meeting you pointed out that you struggled with blue light, which seems to be a consensus within our group, but your blue hour photos are great. None of them are under exposed and the lighting makes the image easily identifiable as blue light photos. The images I find my eye most drawn to are your mixed lighting. These photos have a good balance between the artificial and natural lighting. My favorite is the mixed lighting image that has "Royal Tavern" because the light of the side on one side and the blue sky on the other make for a very appealing composition.
Hi Sierra!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great choice taking pictures in Colorado Springs while you were up there over the weekend! I thought it was great that you got very beautiful shots of the sunset and were able to show the depth of the sun in the clouds as well. I loved the midday photos of the park and ducks as well as the houses/buildings! I struggled with mixed lighting but I thought you did a great job especially with the lamp and neon sign photos! Great photos!
