Hi Julius!
ReplyDeleteI heard you convey that your greatest challenge was deciding what you wanted to shoot. You were limited to locations only on campus. One of your favorite photos you took were the first two photos in your golden hour series (They're mine too!). You appreciate the contrast between the sky and the horizon. You struggled the most with blue hour and mixed lighting. One of my favorite photos you took was photo 1 in your blue hour of the plane.
Well Done!
Julius,
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned in your presentation that all your photos were limited to on campus because that's where you're located, but that limitation doesn't show at all in this project. Your project has a strong photo in every category and your golden hour photos are phenomenal. My favorite of your photos has to be the silhouetted field against the golden light of the mountains. Just like Alexis said in class these photos could be in a showing at an art gallery.
Hey Julius!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your photos and thought they were well executed! I remember you saying that you struggled with the mixed lighting photos and I did too. I think that yours still came out pretty well despite it. Your golden hour photos are really strong and the spots you chose really encapsulated each time of day! Good job :)
Hi Julius,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed viewing your photos. The last image for blue Hour was one of my favorite photos because of how vibrant the colors were in the sky. For golden hour, you picked a great location, and you did a brilliant job with the golden hour photos. My critique would for mixed lighting. I suggest trying taking closer pictures for the mixed lighting.
Hey Julius,
ReplyDeleteAs I said in class, your golden hour shots are incredible and you should think about entering at least most definitely the first 3 of your golden hour shots into a gallery. There are several in town. You said in class that you felt you were challenged by finding interesting compositions to shoot. I think you did a fantastic job at finding beautiful and very interesting compositions. I very much enjoyed the blooming sunflowers that you found somewhere in the middle of fall on campus, the color saturation is so rich. I think your body of work is lovely, well done.
