ReplyDeleteYou mentioned that this is your first real experience doing photography and I feel that this last post demonstrates that you have a very good grasp of photography. I think it was your noon/ midday photo that you said you propped the light on a chair. This is a creative solution to the project that I wish I had thought of! The photos I thought were your best were your broad light. The one with a knife on the pinecones had a really interesting reflection of light and shadow. Comparing this project's category of studio sunlight to your follow the sun post it looks like you really were able to master your blue hour. Maybe it was the use of spoons in this posting that caught and reflected the blue light to help keep the viewers eye engaged. Reviewing your first posting compared to the last I truly can not believe that this is your first experience in photography. None of your photos look blurry, underexposed, or over exposed. It would be interesting to hear what your biggest take away from this class has been and where you’ve seen the most improvement.
